  34.     This program is only useful for developers. If you don't write
  35.     programs, there is no need for you to read on.
  36.  
  37.     This program converts autodocs and C header files to amigaguide,
  38.     creating links. It is targeted at the system online docs; the
  39.     include file parser is rather sketchy and will only handle
  40.     a limited subset of ANSI/ISO C correctly.
  41.  
  42.     Compared to the Commodore utility AD2HT, ADtoHT has the
  43.     following advantages (this list is not necessarily complete):
  44.       - it converts both autodocs AND include files
  45.       - it is smarter
  46.       - the output looks better (IMHO)
  47.       - I'm alive, Commodore is dead
  48.  
  49.     In addition to the converted files, a global table of contents and
  50.         an AmigaGuide crossreference file can be created.

  52. NEW FEATURES
  53.  
  54.     This is a completely new program that contains no code from
  55.     the 1.3 release. You should delete ADtoHT 1.3 since it has
  56.     many disadvantages and even some serious bugs.
  57.  
  58.     Release 2 is much better and has no (known) bugs. It is probably
  59.     slower than release 1.3, though.

  61. REQUIREMENTS
  62.  
  63.     AmigaOS 2.04 (V37) or later is of course required.
  64.     AmigaOS 3.1  (V40) or later is strongly recommended, since it
  65.       will speed up reading/writing considerably.
